Lavender’s Blue

This is a short film which is made by Emilie,the protagonist of Scheduled, the first story in The Anthropocene Chronicles Part I. This shows a home video which was shot two days before the events of Scheduled.

The film was directed by Saranne Bensusan from her script, with Emilie will be played by  Stine Olsen.

Lavenders Blue, Emilie’s self-shot video, which takes place just prior to the events of “The Anthropocene Chronicles Part I” is Saranne Bensusan‘s first Vertically shot film and can now be watched online here

before shooting had even commenced, we had started releasing a series of teasers, similar to this, across various platforms.

The completed film is currently making it’s way around the film festival circuit.

Lavender’s Blue Nominated as Semi-Finalist at Alternative Film Festival in Toronto

BEST INTERNATIONAL SCI-FI/FANTASY/SUPERNATURAL

The short film Lavender’s Blue, written by Saranne Bensusan and Rachael Howard has received a nomination as a semi-finalist in the “BEST INTERNATIONAL SCI-FI/FANTASY/SUPERNATURAL” at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto.   The winners will be asnnounced on September 17th.

The short film Lavender’s Blue, starring Stine Olsen and Natalie Sloth Richter has been selected for the BAFTA qualifying Portabello Road Film Festival in September.  The screenplay was written, in Danish, by (director) Saranne Bensusan and inspired by the nursery rhyme written by Rachael Howard for the short story “Memories” (the nursery rhyme features in the film)

Like the other Short films that we have available, Subtitles for Lavenders Blue are now available for festivals to download from our website, they can also be downloaded from Vimeo if you saw the film there, though our SRT file collection has a larger range in it than you’ll find on Vimeo.
